Start with the examples: http://www.mazdak-alborz.com/v2sc.html This looks very interesting. Has the tool been tested with any benchmarks ? That would really be very interesting. foster911
I have tried to convert some Opencores IPs and with some moderate modifications to them I have got good results.
Philipp A Hartmann
This is the best among competitors. So easy to use. Start with the examples: http://www.mazdak-alborz.com/v2sc.html On the above webpage, I don't see any references to the original authors of this work. In the provided whitepaper the page, no author information is given either. On the other hand, the article is a verbatim copy of an older article from IP-SOC/2005: http://www.design-reuse.com/articles/12918/reusing-verilog-ip-cores-in-systemc-environment-by-v2sc.html (by Leila Mahmoudi Ayough, Ali Haj Abutalebi, Ali Iranmanesh and Moji Atarodi). I think, it would be polite to acknowledge the original authors explicitly. /Philipp
apfitch
Hi Philipp, the "about" page http://www.mazdak-alborz.com/About.html shows the involvement of 2 of the authors you mention, regards Alan
Philipp A Hartmann
the "about" page http://www.mazdak-alborz.com/About.html shows the involvement of 2 of the authors you mention, Indeed, you're right, Alan. I stand corrected. I apologize for the false allegations. /Philipp

apfitch
You could use a synthesis tool, or a translator, Alan

Richard Tseng
Does V2SC support SystemVerilog interface and clocking blocks?
David Black
That's not really a question for Accellera. You need to contact the authors of V2SC, which is not an Accellera product. Go to their website. Of course you could always try those constructs yourself and see what the tool does with them.
