jao16 Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Hello I want to get some feedback regarding any suitable books for UVM. I am looking for tutorial/guidlines/good practices for building UVM test benches. One book i have seen mentioned is "A practical guide to adopting the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)" by S.Rosenberg and K.Meade. One post said that this book is now out of date - wwas based on UVM 1.0 EA. Any comments on this book ? Are there any books that cover UVM 1.1 release THanks JO Quote
SeanChou Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 You should refer to user guide directly and run ubus example directly. If I not remeber it wrong, the book you mentioned contains morn than 70% text and figure same as 10ea user guide. Quote
dave_59 Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 The Verification Academy's UVM Cookbook contains an on-line version of guides and examples that is continuously updated. There are also PDF books that you can download and print for yourself. Quote
kiranbhaskar Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 i refered the "Step by step function verification with system verilog and ovm" by sasam iman This gives a nice start to understanding UVM and sytem verilog basics Quote
