qinhailiang Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 what is the difference between local and local static (or static local) ? I has referred to the sv-2009, but i has also some confusion.Could anyone give me detail interpretation? Quote
Roman Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Local declarations and definitions are accessible at the scope where they are defined and below. By default they are static in life time. They can be made to automatic. To access these local variables which are static, hierarchical path_name should be used. Quote
qinhailiang Posted June 3, 2011 Author Report Posted June 3, 2011 Could you like to me some examples? Thanks a lot in advance!! Quote
uwes Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 hi, have a look at the LRM sect. 6.21. talking about "scope" and "lifetime". "local" refers to scope and visibility - "static" refers to lifetime of the variable. Quote
