bjoernohlau
Hi together, in our simulations we get a UVM_WARNING: CDN_AXI_NONFATAL_WARNING_VR_AXI1002_READ_BURST_RESPONSE_TIMEOUT_AND_DISCARDED from our AXI vip. Unfortunatly this UVM_WARNING corrupts the simulation, but doesn't end the simulation. So how can we stop the simulation in this case? We thought we could do it with a callback function, but not really sure how, or is there any other way to stop the simulation? Thanks for any help greetings Bjoern
David Black
Try issuing a fatal message: `uvm_fatal(get_type_name(),"Self-destruct")
chr_sue
If you do not know from which piece of code this message comes set a reasonable timeout in the toplevel module of your UVM testbench.
bjoernohlau
Hello thank you, we could change the configuration of the vip to send a uvm_fatal instead of the warning! Greetings Bjoern
