Hi Kushi,

I never used whitebox elements but the intend is that you can reference ports, connections, and bus interfaces of/between component instances for verification purposes, for instance, to connect a Verification IP to observe/drive transaction on a particular bus interface. A whitebox element describes the view/HDL specific paths/names of those ports/connections/interfaces.
