Ken Morrison Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 Hello, I am new to the world of SystemC and am trying to gather documentation to educate myself. Today I was trying to download IEEE 1666-2011 from IEEE's website (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/6134619), but it appears that the document is no longer freely available. It seems to have been removed the IEEE Get Program (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/browse/standards/get-program/page/series?id=80). Does anyone know why this is the case? The standard has a status of "Inactive - Reserved" on the download page. Maybe that has something to do with it. Quote
AmeyaVS Posted April 23, 2022 Report Posted April 23, 2022 Hello @Ken Morrison, It seems it has been removed from the IEEE Get program. But you can probably find the document online. Regards, Ameya Vikram Singh Quote
Lynn Garibaldi Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 Hello @Ken Morrison, The standard expired after 10 years and per IEEE policy it was removed from the IEEE Get program. The P1666 Working Group is actively working on a revision. Regards, Lynn Garibaldi Quote
Ken Morrison Posted April 26, 2022 Author Report Posted April 26, 2022 Thank you @Lynn Garibaldi for the update, and I was able to find a copy online @AmeyaVS. Quote
