amitk3553
Hello all, As in systemC we implement functions(methods) in channels. Here in TLM 2.0 we are implementing intefaces and methods in interconnects???? Means, to implement methods of interfaces we need interconnects???? Please explain this?? apfitch
The methods are implemented in initiators and targets - the forward methods are implemented in the target, the backward methods are implemented in the initiator. An interconnect may also implement methods (for instance to carry out routing); or those methods may simply forward on to the target (foward) or initiator (backward). The key point is that a simple interconnect does not create transaction objects. regards Alan
