Mats Johnson Posted November 14, 2023 Report Posted November 14, 2023 With the default (or "HARD") resetType I am assuming that if a field does not have a reset value the field will not be affected by a reset, same as if mask = 0. Is that true? Is it the same for other resetTypes (such as "SOFT"), or would they fall back to the "HARD" reset value if they don't have a specified value? Quote
kock Posted November 16, 2023 Report Posted November 16, 2023 Hi Mats, No, your assumption is wrong. If a field does not have a reset value then it means that it is not documented. You cannot assume it is not affected by a reset. This applies for all reset types. Best regards, Erwin Quote
Mats Johnson Posted November 20, 2023 Author Report Posted November 20, 2023 So all fields should have reset values specified for all resetTypes, unless you want things to be undocumented. Great, thanks! Quote
