Backdoor access in uvm scoreboard

I am trying to implement hardware register check in UVM scoreboard. I am comparing the register model content with the hardware register value through backdoor access. But am not able to implement it using the standard peek and poke functions. Can somebody provide an insight as to how to perform backdoor access in scoreboard??
