And, is there a simple tutorial for this? (The ModelSim User's Manual didn't really help me) Otherwise, is there a better (/easier) simulator? compiler/simulator? Hans64 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 Yes, you need some modifications but they are straightforward and explained perfectly in the User Manual. What is the actual problem? If you want a "easier" simulator you can always use OSCI with a VCD viewer although Modelsim is much easier in this respect. If you have the option go for the latest SE (or Questa) 10.1d release and if you are using Windows then make sure you use the supplied mingw gcc compiler. Good luck, Hans.
