UVM-SystemC now available for public review

Recommended Posts

The SystemC Verification Working Group (VWG) has made available an early UVM-SystemC Language Reference Manual (LRM) accompanied by a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementation for public review. The purpose of this public review is to obtain feedback on the LRM and PoC distribution. The working group is looking for discrepancies versus the standard and simple install/documentation issues against the supported platforms. For details, FAQ and to download the library please visit the VWG page on the Accellera web site.

The Public Review of UVM-SystemC LRM and PoC nears the end. Your feedback is highly appreciated and will be considered for the release if delivered by the end of February. Feedback arriving later will still be considered for the following release. If you would like to get started you can download the UVM-SystemC 1.0 Public Review from http://www.accellera.org/downloads/drafts-review. Further information can be found on the official press release at http://accellera.org/activities/working-groups/systemc-verification/uvm-systemc-public-review.

Unfortunately I had not time to try UVM-SystemC for our SystemC project. But overall some SystemC verification framework is desired. Currently we apply some UVM-inspired ideas in our SystemC testbenches.

I've reviewed test examples, everything works well under Ubuntu 14.04 with GCC 4.8.

We are working on releasing an compatibility update rather soon, probably this year.

That is a great news. Will this time add some examples about how to driving clock/reset signal as I ask in this post?
